Gmail: Out of Office Auto Reply

    Sign into your 4J email account at mail.4j.lane.edu\ If you are signed in to another Google account, click your icon in the top right corner to sign out and back in to your 4J account. If using Chrome, please use your 4J work profile.

    Click "See All Settings"

    Scroll to the bottom of "All Settings" to "Vacation Responder"

    Select the Start Date of your Out of Office Reply

    Select the End Date for your Out of Office Reply (Optional)

    Add the Reply Subject for your Out of Office Message

    Add in the message body of your Out of Office Reply

    Select who will receive your auto-reply: (Everyone, people in your contacts, or anyone who sends a message to you from 4J)

    Click "Save Changes" to turn on your Auto-Reply

    If you have an end date selected, the out of office reminder will turn off automatically. If not, you can return to Settings to click "Vacation Responder off". (After selecting "Off" be sure to click "Save Settings" at the bottom of the page)
