      Create A Class

      **Classwork Tab** The **classwork** tab is where you create and organize resources, assignments, and quizzes for your students. For easy navigation, organize content by using topics such as subject or unit.

      **Quiz Assignment** When you select quiz assignment, a blank Google Quiz (form) is automatically created. Click the blank quiz to open and edit it with your questions.

      **Question** There are a few use cases for the question option in the classwork tab. - Discussion Starter-encourages critical thinking and student interaction - Knowledge Check-quickly gauge comprehension and address misconceptions - Exit Ticket-assess what students learned at the end of the class - Poll-gather student opinions or preferences

      **Material** refers to resourses you can share with your students that don't require submission or grading. It can include documents, links, videos, or any other helpful content. Material posts are typically used to provide study guides, reading assignments, reference sheets, or any instructional materials students need for class. These resources remain accessible throughout the duration of the course.

      People Tab

      **People Tab** The **People** tab is where teachers can manage students and co-teachers for their class. - You can invite co-teachers to help manage the class, post assignments, and grade student work. - You can add or remove students, either by sending email invitations or sharing a class code. - You can also invite guardians to receive email summaries of their child’s assignments and class progress.

      Grades Tab

      **Grades Tab** The access grades, click the **grades** tab. When setting up your Google Classroom, you'll be asked if you want to set an automatic grade for missing assignments.
