Navigate to the assignment with multiple attempts.

Once the assignment is open, notice that the top right of the grading panel reflects multiple submissions.

Navigate to and select the submission you are ready to grade.

Once an attempt is selected and graded, enter the grade by selecting the point value box to the right of the attempt submissions.

The graded submission will become the current grade for the assignment. Grade the second submission to complete the grading workflow.

Select the second submission to grade the second attempt separately.

Enter the grade for the second submission attempt. Depending on your assignment settings, the grade will either average, take the highest, or the lowest grade.

You are now able to view the grades for each submission separately. Once you post the grades, your student is also able to view each submission grade.

Notice the grade averaged between the 70 and 90 on the individual submissions.
