In the Dialpad app, click on "# All Channels" in the top left.

On this page, you'll be able to see all channels that have been created in our organization. Some will be public, some will be private (invitation-only).

To create a new group, or channel, for messaging (internal only), click on "Create channel" in the top right

Public - Conversations and channel history are visible to all company users.

Private - Private channel members cannot be made public. Conversations will always stay and members need to be invited to join.

If a channel is marked private, users can request to join

Name the channel, add a description (optional), then set it to either Public or Private.

Add members (you can also add them later after creating the channel - see next step)
