Click "Sign In to the Console", if you already have an account. If not, click on signup to create one. 

Click the "Bucket name" field, and name your bucket accordingly. 

Scroll down within the same page to click on ACLs Enabled. We are enabling ACLs (Access Control Lists) to make our website public. 

Objects in this bucket can be owned by other AWS accounts. Access to this bucket and its objects can be specified using ACLs.

Scroll down till you can see the the public access settings, click this checkbox. We want our static website to be visible to the pubic!

Click this checkbox to acknowledge the same. 

Choose your S3 bucket which you've just created. 

Click "Upload" to upload the source code for your files. 

The files will take upto 1-2 mins to upload. Once that is done, click "Close". 

Scroll down till you can find the settings on "Static Website Hosting". Click "Edit". 

Click the "Index document" field and out in the name of your corresponding "index.html" file.
