Hide/Show an activity, resource or section

Click "Edit mode".

Locate the activity or resource which you want to show or hide. Click the three vertical dots icon on the right corner of the activity.

Select "Hide" or "Show" depending on which action you perform. If the activity is hidden, it only has "Show" option.

When activity or resource is hidden, it displays "Hidden from students" label under it.

To hide/show the entire section, click the three vertical dots icon on the right corner of the section.

Select "Hide section" or "Show section" depending on which action you perform. If the section is hidden, it only has "Show section" option.

When section is hidden, all the resources located within that section get hidden as well.

Activities in the hidden section can be made available for students to access in the embedded content. Select three vertical dots icon next to the hidden activity inside the hidden section.

Click "Make available"

Now that one activity / resource is available to students, but not visible in the hidden section. That activity / resource should be linked somewhere else in the course for students to access.
