      **Using the Alternative Home content type**, add a new Hero and use the drop down menu to explore your options.

      Home Hero Carousel is configured to display Article and Featured Article content types. **Start typing the name of the Article or Featured Article** you want add to the homepage hero carousel. Content that matches your query will populate as options to select. **Select the content you need**.

      The "**Contextual Headline**" field is where you'll enter the text you want displayed over the Article link in the homepage hero carousel. This text lives independently from the Article itself and does not have to match it. **Important**: The Article's Featured Image in its hero section is the image that will display on the homepage carousel, along with the text you enter in this step.

      Click "**+ Hero Carousel Card**" to add additional items in the hero carousel. Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 as needed.
