Before you can access the applications, you may be asked to answer questions on your Student Profile that correlate to the Housing Application. Some of these will be:
- Are You Currently Living on Campus?
- This question helps the system determine if someone is a current resident or not and is used to prioritize the Returning Residents Application.
- If you are not a Current Resident (ex. You are not living on campus at the time of submitting your application), you will need to answer **No**.
- Residence Life Staff will review applications after the Initial Deadline and make sure that all applicants are in their proper Applicant Groups. If an applicant provides incorrect information, such as stating they are currently living on campus, their application could be disqualified from the Room Lottery (if applied by the Initial Deadline), moved to the Waitlist, or expunged/deleted, depending on circumstances.
- Housing Assignment: Campus
- This question is for which campus you plan on attending and want to reside on. Depending on the campus you select, the system will only show you the application(s) for that campus.
- In the event a student applies for one campus but then plans on attending and residing on another, they will need to fill out the Cancellation/Campus Transfer Request Form found on eRezLife.
- Campus transfers are subject to availability and are based on when the transfer request is received, not when the original application was submitted.
When applying, there will be two different deadlines:
1. An "initial" deadline when Residence Life will begin the room assignment/room selection process. You can still apply after this deadline, but may not be considered in the Room Selection Process.
2. A "final" deadline when applications can no longer be submitted for the semester (this will typically be the last day of the semester)
