How To Apply For UW-Madison's PEOPLE Program

Click "Create Your Account" if you do not already have a submittable account.

Click "Sign up" to create an account. \*IF YOU **ALREADY** HAVE AN ACCOUNT, SKIP TO STEP 11.

Enter your email address.

Enter your first name.

Enter your last name.

Choose display name.

Click continue to proceed.

Create your password following the requirements. \*BE SURE TO REMEMBER YOUR EMAIL & PASSWORD!

Click "continue".

Enter student's name, this should match the student's school records.

Enter student's legal first name, copy as listed on birth certificate.

Enter student's legal last name, copy as listed on birth certificate.

If student is a current 8th grade student, select "yes". Doing so will prompt the next section. \*PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS ***MUST*** BE A TRUE 8TH GRADER IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PEOPLE APPLICATION PROCESS. \*\*Answer "do you or have you had a sibling in the program?" as you find appropriate.

Find and select student's current middle school.

Select the school district.

Find and select the high school that the student intends to enroll at, selecting a high school will prompt the next section. \*YOU MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE ABOVE PARTNERSHIP HIGH SCHOOLS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PEOPLE ADMISSION.

If you are unable find the student's middle school select "current middle school not listed". \*SKIP TO STEP 22 IF THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Enter the middle school that the student is currently attending.

Select the school district.
