To assign Finance Officer Access, you must already have managing access for your RSO on Engage. If you do not currently have access to your RSO on Engage and you should, please reach out to [engage@gatech.edu](mailto:engage@gatech.edu).

To see which organizations you have managing access for, click here.

Next, a list of organizations that you have access to will appear beneath "My organizations". 

Navigate to the organization that you wish to add a Finance Officer to, and select the gear icon located to the right of the organization name.

After you click the gear icon, an Organization Tools toolbar will appear. 

Select "Roster"

The roster will show you a list of all your organization's members and information about your organization's primary contact. 

FYI: The primary contact is person designated to be the main point of contact for your organization. If you need to send a message to your primary contact, you can click the Contact button at the top of the organization page.

To invite a user that is not current within your organization to be the Finance Officer. You must first invite them to join your organization. 

You can invite people to join your organization by clicking +Invite People at the top of the Roster page in Action Center.

To invite people, enter the campus e-mail addresses you'd like to send membership invitations to. You can enter up to 500 e-mail addresses in the text box. Make sure to use the GT username associated with the users' accounts. No Alias!

For example, my GT Alias email is [test@gatech.edu](mailto:test@gatech.edu). However, Engage doesn't recognize alias addresses.

Because of this, I will use my full GT username instead: [test2@gatech.edu](mailto:test2@gatech.edu). 

After you have added the e-mail address, click +Add E-mail Addresses. 

Once you have entered the e-mail(s), you can select which Position you would like the user(s) to hold once they accept their invitation.

Since we want to invite this user as the Finance Officer, we will select that option here.

After you select which Position you would like the user to hold once they accept their invitation, click Send Invitations.

The system will notify you that your invitation was successfully sent. 

1 organization invitation was successfully sent.

You can view all invitation requests that have yet to be accepted in the "Pending" tab on your Roster page.

Click "UU [test2@gatech.edu](mailto:test2@gatech.edu)"

Here, we can see test2 listed within the other sent invitations.

If needed, you can also select the "Resend Invitation" button to send an additional notification to the user.

Resending an invitation will provide students with an email notifying them they have have an awaiting invitation.

To add the Finance Officer position to a member already within your organization's roster: First, locate them within the roster.

Here, we will be adding the "Finance Officer" Position to Essynce Mackey.
