How To Create A Sub-Item In Notion

Click on the database view name to open the menu.

Click "Edit view"

Click here.

Rename the sub-item and parent item names.

Click "Create"

Click this icon.

Click "New sub-item"

You can fill in the same properties for sub-items as for any item in the database. You'll also notice two new 'relational' properties have been created, showing how these two tasks relate to one another.

You can even create sub-tasks within sub-tasks!
