How To Create An "OBJECT" Asset In Tillex

This guide explains how to add an asset (such as a table) into the Tillex Administrator Role. After that, follow the guide on how to make this asset available in the Sales Catalogue, for example; reserve a restaurant table.

In the Tillex Partner Center, select "Administrator".

Select "Assets".

Click "+" to reveal Asset Classes.

Create a "Name" e.g. Table *Tip: adding colour makes it easier to find in the epos.*

In the "Type" tab, select "Object".

Use the drop down menu to set a "Naming Scheme" - Named - Numbered - Generic

Click on the "+" button to add info.

Enter data required e.g. Table, 1-10. Tip: leave "Section" blank at the top level if you want to view all the objects together - for example; bar, garden and snug, in the epos (view step 11).

This example has 10 tables.

Add info to assets if required.

This example shows Numbered objects assets (tables) with seating capacity in sections and no priority allocation.

Edit the info on each asset if required. Click the pencil icon to add a "Category" e.g. dog friendly table.

To create a "Category" for a table click on the table followed by the pencil icon.

To create a "Category" click the "+" button.

Type a category name (decide if you want it visible to the public for online booking). Click OK.

Table 1 now has a "Dog Friendly" category in the Snug.

Tip! If another table requires the same category... when you start typing 'dog' etc Tillex remembers and it appears.

Remember to click "Save".

Asset Class complete. Click "Close"

Tip! Other examples of "Class of Asset" involving "Objects" could be a Desk (Workstation) or Pool/Snooker Table.
