In this Training Guide I will be showing you: - How to Create a task in MP - The example we will be going through is if Communications cannot approve your event yet because the event is missing something or needs an edit (this is how to properly communicate this within the process, in MP) - How to add a picture to an event
1
Navigate to [https://my.pinehills.church/mp/0/1/](https://my.pinehills.church/mp/0/1/)
2
Click on "My Tasks"
3
Here you can see that Ryan Authored/Created a Task for me to Add a picture. If you click into the task you will be able to see details.
4
Click the "Record" tab
5
Click "Go To Attached Record" and it will take you to the exact event that needs the changes made.
6
Since we need to add a picture to this event for it to be approved click "Files"
7
Click "Attach File"
8
Click "Attach one or more files, up to 20MB each, in standard formats like PNG, JPG, BMP, GID, GIF, PDF, TXT, and CSV."
9
Select whatever picture or graphic is necessary for the event and then Click "Attach"
10
Click "Tasks" dropdown while still on the event. Here you can see all the outstanding tasks assigned to anyone for a specific event.
11
Click on your task that you just completed.
12
Click "Complete"
13
Click "New Task". If you click the "New Task" button in the event or record you are working in then the record will be linked to the task you send to someone. If you create a task from your Home Page no record will be linked.
14
In the title, make sure to say that you completed the task and select the User who assigned the task to you. In this case it would be Ryan.
15
Click the "Start Date:" field to add in todays date
16
Feel free to add in the message more details on what you completed if necessary and click "Save"
17
That is how you create a task and communicate according to our Event Approval Process! :)
