Applying conditional formatting in Google Sheets is really simple! The first thing you should do is to navigate to Google Sheets.
Once you have your spreadsheet opened, you should select the column or row that you want to apply the conditional formatting to.

Then, you should click on "Format".

Then, you should select "Conditional formatting" from the dropdown.

Then, you should click on the dropdown below "Format rules".

You will find many formatting options that can either be applied to text, numbers and even dates! Select the one you need or prefer. In this case, I will be choosing the "text contains".

Once you select the type of format you want, click on the "Value or formula" field and type the text that you want to be highlighted.
