How To Redeem A Tillex Personal Discount Voucher (PDV)

This guide explains how Loyalty rewards in Tillex are managed using Personal Discount Vouchers (PDVs). These are linked to a specific customer profile (hence “personal”) and are automatically applied when that customer is selected on an order — no need to scan or manually enter a code.

- PDVs are tied to a **customer profile** and apply automatically when that customer is identified. - If shared via **email (QR/code)**, they can be **transferred** and used by another customer. - Transferred vouchers can be applied using the **discount panel** or a **QR/barcode scanner**.

In the Tillex Partner Center, select EPOS

Open the till as normal

Add items to a cart. Click on "Customer" + swipe left, click "Change".

When a customer is identified or a walk-in alias is updated, Tillex: - Removes any previously added vouchers and applies any vouchers linked to that customer - Any vouchers added *after* the customer is identified will remain If a voucher is already linked to that customer, re-adding it has no additional effect

Tip! If the customer does not have an account, you can onboard them by clicking on the red plus button.

Alert! To avoid future disruption/fines... never use false data (mobile phone number or email address) and always ensure the spelling + digits are correct before proceeding.

Note: If a voucher is applied **before** identifying the customer, it will be removed once the customer is selected. This prevents vouchers being incorrectly applied to the wrong customer. *(Simply re-scan the voucher after selecting the customer)*
