How To Request A Roommate For Fall 2025

Navigate to<http://housing.wittenberg.edu/>

Click "Roommate Selection" from the left-hand menu.

Click "Select Roommates"

Make sure you are in the "Fall 2025" term (the system will always default to the current term in progress).

Select the correct term.

Once you are in the correct term. You will see 3 options. Roommate Requests: are completed roommate requests Pending Roommate Requests: Are roommate invites pending your decision. Search for a Roommate: Where you will search for a roommate to send an invite to.

Once you have clicked "Search for a Roommate" you can search with three fields: first names, last names, and email addresses. I would reccommend searching with email addresses if it is a common name. Otherwise, first and last name should work well!

Once you have typed in the information, click "begin search"

At this point, you will see all relevant searches. Click "Request Roommate" to send them an invite. Please note, if you cannot find someone at this point, it is likely that they have not completed their Housing Application. Check with them first, before checking with housing.

After you click "Request Roommate" the request will move to "Roommate Requests" and will remain yellow until accepted.
