How To Set A Static IP on Triton Cloud

Setting a Static IP is strongly recommended to prevent devices from losing their DHCP reservation after updates/reboots, causing the devices to show as offline on Triton Cloud.

Tritonsensors

A sensor has to be online in Triton Cloud to set a Static IP, ping the device under controls to ensure it is online. Offline devices can't recieve any commands from Triton Cloud.

Go to app.tritonsensors.com

Click "Device Management"

Click the 3 dots under Action.

Click "Edit"

Click the Static IP Enabled slider

Enter your preferred Static IP information including address, netmask, gateway, and primary/backup DNS Server

The IP changes won't take effect until you reboot the sensor

Click "Devices"

Click on the same device

Click "Controls"

Click "Send Reboot Command"

Click "Confirm"
