How To Set Different Administrative Head Officers & Titles For Different Sections Of Your School

Create or Update Class Categories (School Sections)

Sign in to your school portal as an admin

Click the "ACADEMICS" menu-group

Click the "Academics / Learning" menu

Click the "Classes" sub-menu

On the page displayed, scroll down to the "Class Categories" section of the page.\

You'll need to edit each of the class categories to specify their administrative head officers and their titles.\
\
To edit, click the edit icon corresponding to a class category as shown below.

In the 'Administrative Head Staff Title' field, specify the title of the administrative head position (E.g. Principal, Head of School, Head Teacher, HOD, Head Master/Mistress, etc.)

In the 'Administrative Head' field, select the staff in charge of that school section/category

Click "Update"

Click "Done"
Link Classes to Categories (School Sections)

After creating and/or updating your various school sections (class categories), the next step is to ensure that every class in your portal is linked to the category/section it should belong to.

Navigate to the list of classes.\

If a class is not linked/added to any school section yet, click the edit button next to it as shown below

In the Class Category field, select the appropriate school section for the class

Click "Update"

Repeat the steps until all classes are properly added/linked to their respective school sections.
