How To Setup Call Tracking

The first thing we need to do when setting up phone tracking will be to create a company. In LeadSnap a company represents a website. Therefore you will want to have a company for each domain you manage.

After clicking settings, then click companies.

Go to all companies

Then click the + Company button at the top.

Impute the name, website URL, and time zone of your company

Then click create company.

After your company is created, we will then need to setup your client. Your clients will be added to the system as users.

To start, go to settings, click users, then click add new user.

Now we will add all of your clients information such as their name, email and phone number. The rest of the information is optional, but its important to have their email and phone number in here as this is where leads will be sent too from the automations.

Now we can change their user role to be a client. (Note: this does not matter if you do not plan on having them log into LeadSnap.)

Then click the companies dropdown and select which company or companies they will be assigned too.

Now create a password for them. This will need to be done even if they will not be logging into LeadSnap.

Now check this box if you want your client to receive login details to manage their leads. If you do not want them to be able to login simply leave this box blank.

And finally for this step, click save.

You can double check that you have assigned your new user to the company from the all companies screen. If this area shows as N/A or you ever want to change it in the future, you can do so by following the below steps.

Click edit company

Then scroll down to where you see "assigned clients".

Then choose the client you want to be assigned to this company.

Now that we have our company and our client setup, we will need to purchase a tracking number.

To do so, go to Phone System in the left navigation, then go to numbers
