How To Setup Rank Tracking For Your GMB's

Open the Google tab in the left side navigation

Select "GMB Locations"

Then select the "+ GMB" button. If you do not see this button. Please contact support to see about getting an API for your account.

Sign in to the Gmail account associated with a GMB to add it into LeadSnap.

Now that your GMB is integrated, we can head over to "Rank Tracking"

Then select "GMB Heat Map"

Select the MY GMB tab then choose the GMB you want to start tracking your rankings for.

Now type in a keyword. Please note, you only need to do 1 for now. We will configure the tracking for multiple keywords later on in this guide.

Select your distance between points.

And select your grid size.

Before starting the heatmap make sure to select the save configuration box. This is needed in order to schedule your heatmaps.

Once you have all of your settings how you want them, we can go ahead and start the heatmap.

A box will appear after clicking start that will ask you to name your configuration. Make sure to name it something you will be able to remember later on. For example the name of the GMB.

After naming your configuration click save and your heatmap will then start.

Click "OK"

Now we will create a keyword list. The keyword list is necessary if you would like LeadSnap to be tracking your rankings across multiple keywords.

First create a name for your list. You will likely want this to be names after your niche. For example HVAC keywords.

Now enter in all of the keywords you want to be tracking. Please note each keyword entered in this list will run a heatmap at the frequency you set later on which will consume a credit for each keyword.

After you have added your desired keywords. Click save.

Now lastly we can use the configuration we create along with the keyword list to create our schedule.
