    How To Submit A Coordinated Paper Session

    Click "NCME 2025 Coordinated Paper Session Submission"

    Click the button "Click Here to Start"

    Click "Start Session"

    Enter the title of your session.

    Select your Primary Topic from the drop down list. Optionally also select Secondary and Tertiary topics.

    Add your research summary. If you are planning to attach a pdf, you can just write “See the pdf.”

    You can upload a pdf of your proposal, by clicking “Choose File” and browsing to find your file location.

    Indicate whether your session is the official submission for a NCME SIGIMIE or Committee. Note that this is only relevant to those representing NCME SIGIMIEs/committees (e.g.<https://www.ncme.org/community/ncme-sigimie/sigmie-get-involved>)

    Indicate whether you would like your session to be considered for the NCME Diversity Issues in Testing Invited Session. The Diversity Issues in Testing Committee (<https://www.ncme.org/community/ncme-committees/diversity-issues-testing>) will select one diversity related session as a named “Diversity Issues in Testing Invited Session.” You do not have to be affiliated with this committee to indicate interest.

    If you have a session chair. Click the “search by last name” field to find them in the database. You can also try searching by their email address. If you cannot find them, click the “Add Contact” button.

    Click the "Search by last name" field to find them in the database or add a new contact if you cannot find them.

    Add a discussant if you session has one.

    Click Update Session Information. You will list your papers and presenters, plus the co-authors of the papers on the next screen.

    Click “Go To Add New Paper” to add the first paper for your session.

    Click the "Presenter" field. Search the database to see if the presenter is an existing contact in the system (search by last name or email address). If they are not in the system, click on Add New Contact.

    For example, if colleague is “Daria Cohen”, enter “Cohen” in the search bar and select the entry with Daria’s correct first name and email address.

    Add the title of your paper in the spot called "Title."

    Click Add New Paper to save your information.

    To add co-authors, click "Manage"

    Add co-authors the same way you added the first paper presenter.
