How To ... Create A Webhook In BambooHR

Bamboo HR

From your Bamboo HR home page, click the settings icon (cog) in the top right corner.

Click "Webhooks". If you account does not have this option then you will need to send a request to Bamboo HR to have it added to your login.

Click "Add Webhook"

Click this text field. Type a name for you webhook for example "VISION Webhook"

From the What fields do you want to monitor? Choose all 9 fields listed here. Employee #\ First Name\ Last Name\ Work Email\ Job Title\ Location\ Reporting to\ Division\ Department

In the What fields do you want to post? Add the fields that need to be posted to VISION when the webhook is triggered. Edit each field Post Var to the name as detailed here in bold.\ \ Employee # >> **EmployeeNumber**\ First Name >> **FirstName**\ Last Name >> **LastName**\ Work Email >> **WorkEmail**\ Job Title >> **JobTitle**\ Location >> **Location** (no change)\ Reports To >> **ReportsTo**\ Division >> **Division** (no change)\ Department >> **Department** (no change)

Click "JSON" for the format the data should be in

Enter the Post to URL as [https://api.visionmp.co.uk/bamboohr/customerid](https://api.visionmp.co.uk/bamboohr) You can get your Post to URL including the **customerid** from the VISION connections tab in settings.

Click "Save"
