How to Activate and Access an eBook Purchased at the CSU Bookstore

With your receipt, navigate to [https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home](https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home) and click the menu option labeled "My Account."

Even though you are not purchasing an eBook, click "I UNDERSTAND" and select "eID/NetID Login" as your sign-on option. Sign on using the eID/NetID sign-on process. This is the same process you use to access Ram Web and Canvas.

After signing in, you will see your "My Account" page. Click on the link marked "Activate And Access eBooks."

You will see your eBook library, including any eBooks purchased on our website. To activate your in-store purchase, click the link marked "Click here to activate an in-store purchase."

Click your cursor in the "Card Number" field. Enter the code from your receipt. This field is not case-sensitive. When you are done entering your code, click "Activate."

Your eBook will appear on your eBook library. To read the book, click on the "Access Content" menu and select "Access." You will be redirected to VitalSource, where you can begin reading your eBook.

You will be able to access your eBook from the VitalSource website.
