    How to Add Adjustment to a Customer's Account

      Click "Accounts"

      Click "All Customers"

      Click the "Search:" field and search customer name

      Click "Actions"

      Click "Add Adjustment"

      Click the "Reference" field and add something that displays on the statement that makes sense to the customer eg. "Other sales" or "Opening Balance"

      Add in a reason, which can be the same as reference.

      Click this dropdown and select the Ledger Account

      Click this dropdown.

      "Increase the customer balance" when they owe you money (you want to add an outstanding balance)

      "Decrease the customer balance" when they have a credit (you want to add how much they over paid or have in credit) and add the amount.
