Open the sheet where you want to add a new cell.

Click or hover over the ”Insert cells" option.

Select an option between “Insert cells and shift right” or “Insert cells and shift down.” In this example, I chose to insert a cell and shift right. This means all the cells next to this one will be shifted to the right.

Now, the new cell is inserted and the previous ones are shifted to the right.
