Tags are a way for your map viewers to filter map points. You can assign multiple tags to one map point. For instance, you might add a "Kid friendly" tag to a place that also has a tag of "$$".
To add Tags, click "Categories & Tags" scroll down to "Tags and Tag Groups" then click the "+".
You can either add a "New Tag" or a "Tag Group". "New Tag" - A singular filterable quality. Example "Kid friendly" or "woman owned". "Tag Group" - A set of features that a user needs to choose between. For instance, a tag group might be titled "Food Type" and a subtag would be "Italian, American, Thai".
For Tag Groups you will name the group first.
Next, click the "+" to add sub-tags to the group.
After you're done naming the sub-tag, click the check mark to the right of the text box.
Add any additional sub-tags to the group by clicking the "+" and repeating the same steps as above.
When you're done adding sub-tags, click "Save". If you would like to delete the Tag Group, you can click "Delete".
You will see your new tag group displayed at the top of the tags. Tip! You can click on any of the tags to edit or delete them.
Next, let's walk through adding a singular tag. Click the "+" at the bottom of the tag list and click "New Tag".
Type in the name of the tag and select a color for the tag.
Once you're done creating the tag, click "Save".
To edit any tag or tag group, click the one you would like to edit.
Now you can edit a Tag or Tag Group name and it's associated color. Click "Save" when done editing. If you would like to delete the Tag or Tag Group, click "Delete".
