How to Add a Border in Google Slides

Sign in to your Google account and go to <https://docs.google.com/presentation>
Open an existing presentation or create a new one.
Click on the slide where you want to make a border.

Click the "Insert" tab in the menu bar at the top.

Click or hover over the “Shape” option in this menu.

Select a shape. In this case, I selected the rectangle.

Now you have to click and drag from one of the corner of the slides to create the shape.

Here, the shape is inserted. You can resize it if you need. By default, it will be grey.

Tip! You need to make the Fill color transparent. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the slide's content.
Go to the toolbar on top and click the Fill color icon.

Click "Transparent"

Tip! Now, your shape is transparent, but you need to customize the borders.
Go to the toolbar on top and click on the Border weight button.

You can select the weight you like the most. In this case, I selected 16px, which is very thick.
