Embed YouTube Video as Countdown Timer in Google Slides

Sign in to your Google account, navigate to [https://docs.google.com/presentation](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1DZLZOqah7T5lcnrRp_iqjAtroYi-5bCnyK3AMZ1XMr8/edit#slide=id.g2d85001e5e7_0_295) and open an existing or new presentation.

Select the slide where you want to add the timer.

Click the "Insert" tab in the toolbar on top.

Click the “Video” option in the dropdown menu.

Use the search bar in the pop-up window to look for a YouTube video.

Click on the video you wish to add to the slide.

Click "Insert"

The video will be inserted in the middle of the slide. You can change the size and position by clicking and dragging the video.

A “Format options” panel will appear on the right side of the screen.

On the “Format options” panel, you can make all the adjustments you like. For example, you can click on the checkbox next to “Mute audio”.
