How to Add a Teams/YouTube Video to a Course Module

    First, create your Teams recording and copy the link. How-to: <https://services.trine.edu/support/solutions/articles/11000104502>\ Once you have your recording, access your course. Turn on "Edit mode" by clicking the switch at the top-right of the page.

    Click "Add an activity or resource"

    Option1: Resource that plays the video in the course.\ Select the "Text and media area" activity tile

    Copy your video url from the previous instructions/steps. Paste the copied video code in the text box area

    Select "Save and return to course". You will see the video embedded in the course page and playable from there.

    Option2: Have a url in the course that students can select. Select "Add an activity or resource" at the bottom of the page in your course.

    Select the URL activity tile.

    Give the URL activity a name (label) that will be visible on the Moodle course page.

    Copy the video url from the previous steps/instructions. Paste that in the "External URL" area.

    Select "Save and return to course" at the bottom of the page

    Your video will be embedded in the course. When students select it, they will access the video page and be able to watch the video.
