    How to Add and Manage Learning Resources in Your Resource Library (For Teachers/Instructors)

    What is the Resource Library?

    **What is the Resource Library?**\ \ As a teacher/instructor, your Learning Contents Resource Library is a digital space in your online school portal where you can prepare or upload academic resources such as notes, videos, files, texts, etc. which you intend to utilize for teaching or make available to your students in due time.\ \ Note that contents you add to your Resource Library are not automatically visible or available to your students. You can add contents, save them as drafts, and return to edit or complete them later.\ \ To make a content from your Resource Library available to your students, you need to select and add it to the class LMS or Virtual Classroom space where it becomes accessible to the students.

    Navigate to the Resource Library

    Sign in to your school portal account as a teacher/instructor

    On the your account dashboard, you will find the list of class subjects assigned to you as shown below.\ \ Find and click on the subject you want to manage/add notes and learning materials to.

    Click the "Contents / Resource Library" option in the dropdown menu to navigate to that subject's section of your Resource Library.

    To add a new resource/content to your library, Click the "Add New" button at the top right of the page

    In the modal opened, provide a title or topic of the content you want to add in the input box provided

    Optionally, you can provide a brief description of the content you want to add in the input box provide. \ \ *Note that this is not yet the main body of the content you're adding.*

    You can add/upload files bearing the body of the contents you want to add using the file upload button.\ \ *Supported file types include:* \ PDF Files, MS Word Documents, MS Excel Spreadsheets, MS PowerPoint Presentations, Image files of various formats, etc.

    You can add video content as well using the video link input box.\ \ *Note that the video content needs to have been already uploaded either as a **public** or **unlisted** video on YouTube or any other video hosting platform. What you provide on the portal is then the video link.*

    If you want to type or paste the body of the content directly as text (similar to MS Word), you can paste or type that in the "Content" text editor box. \ \ Here you may add/insert pictures, tables, links, symbols/special characters, math equations, etc., and even embed video links too.\ \ You also have various options to richly format your text contents as you would do in various text editor programs.

    Click "Save" to save the content.\ \ You can save the content and return to edit or complete it later.

    Preview Content in Resource Library

    To preview a content you added, Click the "View" button corresponding to the content. A preview modal will open.

    Right there in the preview modal, you can see a preview of each content you have added, including video, uploaded file, and direct text content.

    When done, click the 'close' button of the preview modal to close the preview

    Edit Content in Resource Library

    To edit/update a content you added, click the "Edit" button corresponding to the content to open it in the Edit modal.
