How to Apply for a Certificate of Official Approval to Import an Antibiotic on TTBizLink

This guide explains how to apply for a Certificate of Official Approval to Import an Antibiotic on TTBizLink from the Drug Inspectorate of the Chemistry, Food and Drugs Division on the Ministry of Health.

From your Dashboard, click "APPLY" from the left menu options.

Next, click "E-services" to view all Licences and Certificates.

Click "Antibiotic Import Licence".

Review the information about the service. Next, click "Apply".

Creating the Application

Alert!

A new application form is displayed comprising eight sections. These are: Submitter Details, Application Details, Antibiotics Details, List of Antibiotics, Supporting Documentation, Contact Details, Notification Details and Summary. Review the Submitter Details. The information in Submitter Details is pre-populated based on your Organisation. Click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

Enter the information in Application Details. Click the look up icon to view the Premises pre-registered under your account.

To narrow your search, enter the Pharmacist or Premises Name and click "Lookup".

Select the premises from the list.

Complete the Application Details. Click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

Enter the information in Antibiotics Details. Click the look up icon to view the Manufacturers pre-registered under your account.

To narrow your search, enter the Drug Name and click "Lookup".

Select the manufacturer from the list.

Complete the Antibiotics Details. Click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

Enter the information in List of Antibiotics. Click "Add" to add new Antibiotics Details into the table.

Enter antibiotics details and click "Save".

Antibiotics must first be pre-registered to your account.

Click the edit button in the action column to edit details of the antibiotic if required. Check the box and click "Delete" to remove an antibiotic.

After all antibiotics have been added click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

Attach documents to your application in Supporting Documents. Enter a Document Name under the column "Description. Click "Drop files here or click to upload" to locate and upload files.

For this application the Justification, NIPDEC Purchase Order and Invoice documents are mandatory supporting documents to be uploaded.

Once uploaded, click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

The information in Contact Details is pre-populated based on your logged-in User. Click "Save" or navigate to the next section.

Enter the information in Notification Details. Click "Save".

To enter a phone number to receive notifications via text messages, select the check box in the Notification Details section.

If the Notification Details are the same as the Contact Details, click the check box for "Same as Contact Details"

The Summary section provides an overview of all the details entered in the previous sections. If there are changes, click on the relevant section and make updates as required. If there are no further changes, click "Complete Application".

Remember to click "Save" after making any changes.

The application has been completed and is now Pending Submission. There are two additional sections, which can only be completed by the User with the Submit Permission.

Click on Terms and Conditions. Carefully read the Terms & Conditions. Once in agreement, click the check boxes for each of the statements. Click "Complete & Submit".

The application is now submitted successfully.

Click "Exit" to return to the dashboard.

Obtaining Your Certificate

Once your application has been approved by this agency, you will be notified via email.
