    Login to <https://mm.itsacheckmate.com/>

    Click on "**Manage User Access**" from the navigation sidebar

    Select the user that you would like to "**Archive**". Then, select the **“Archive icon”** indicated below.

    A **“Archive User”** dialog box (shown below) will appear on the screen wherein you need to manually enter the user's email address to confirm your decision. Then, select the **“Archive”** button to archive the user successfully.

    You can view all the Archived users using the "**Show Archived**" filter. Once archived, the option to edit the user will no longer be visible; only the option to restore the user will remain.

    The user's account has been marked as **Archived** the user cannot log in to the Checkmate portal or reset their password. However, the Checkmate portal retains the archived user's profile, permissions, preferences, and location assignments. A confirmation email will be sent once the user account is successfully Archived.
