How to Assign/Reroute a service request - Desktop

Navigate to the dashboard: <https://app.servusconnect.com/app>

One of the ways to assign a service request is when you create it in the system. On the dashboard, click the "green plus" symbol.

Then click on the "service professional" drop down menu.

And select one of your service professionals.

Alternatively, you can click on "more options"

And select a service professional here...

Another way to do this is when you see a number in the needs assignment section. First click on the "needs assignment" link.

Then click on the action button to the right of a given service request.

Click "Reroute"

Click the "Service Professional" field.

Here you can choose a service professional from the list.

Or you can go into the service request itself by clicking on the title of one.

Then click on this "SP reroute" button.

Click "SELECT A USER" to choose a service professional.

Chose a service professional from the list.

Finally, click "OK" to reroute the request.

Another way to make assignments automatically is to see if you have a default service professional selected. Click on the manage tab to see if you have a default service professional.

You can view the status here. If one is not assigned, then everything that comes in from your PMS system will be put into the not assigned bucket.

To assign one, click on the pencil icon in the top right.

Scroll down to select a default service professional. It is recommended to set your maintenance supervisor as this.

Choose a service professional from the list, and click save. Now everything new that comes into the service request system will come directly assigned to your maintenance supervisor. They will get notified and then they can reroute it to a service professional as shown a minute ago.
