An important note: service requests created in a connected resident portal or property management software will by default be put into the needs assignment bucket. To make automatic assignments you'll need to configure "default" Service Professional.
15
To check or set a default service provider, open the menu on the left and navigate to the "manage" page.
16
On the manage page, scroll down vertically to where the default service provider is listed.
17
If the default service professional is labeled as "not assigned". If so, everything that comes in from your resident portal or PMS system will be put into the not assigned bucket.
18
To change this, tap the pencil at the top of the screen to edit your property settings.
19
Then select your maintenance supervisor as the default service professional.
20
Tap save.
21
Now everything new that comes into the service request system will come directly assigned to your maintenance supervisor. They will get notified and then they can reassign it to a service professional as shown earlier.
