Log in to your LendingWise back office.
      Click "Settings"
      Click "Import Data (CSV)"
Click the "Document Name" field. Type in a name that will allow you to identify this import in the future if needed. For this example, I entered "Initial Borrower Import".
For this example, we will use the Borrower Import Template. Click the "Choose file" field. Then select the Borrower Import/Upload Template CSV file you already prepared with all your borrower data you want to import.
      Click "Upload and Map Fields"
      Click on "Select Branch"
Choose the Branch you would like to import the borrower list to from the drop-down menu.
Click on "Select Loan Officer/Mortgage Broker"
Select the Loan Officer/Broker you would like the borrowers on this list to be assigned to. **Note: A Loan Officer/Broker MUST be selected from the drop-down options in order to complete the import. Your CSV files should be separated by which Loan Officer/Broker you will want the list assigned to when imported.
Select your preferred format for Date of Birth.
Click on "File Type" and select if these borrowers are Commercial/Residential Real Estate or Business Funding from the drop-down menu. If only 1 option is available, select that option.
      Ignore First Row? Select "Yes"
To map the first column, see the data that is in that column below the drop down menu. In this case you can see that the first field shows the titleheader "first name" and you can see first names are in that column so slick the drop-down menu and select "First Name" for this column.
You will do the same for the second column. We can see that this column contains last names so select "Last Name" from the drop-down menu options.
In the this column we can see there are emails, so select "Email" from the drop-down menu options. Keep doing this for all the following columns. You will find that some columns do not have a matching option from the drop-down menu options. You can leave those in the "- ignore-" position. This applies to the following columns: • Drivers License Number • Drivers License State • Place of Birth
Once you have finished mapping all the columns, Click "Sanitize".
The blue X will now turn into a blue Checkmark which confirms that your list is being imported.
After a few minutes, you can see if your list was imported successfully. Click "Users/Contacts".
      Click "Borrowers"

Want to make guides like this in seconds? Yes, it's really that fast.
