STN - How to Cancel a Recurring Payment/Subscription in HubSpot when removing a Staff Member

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to cancel a recurring payment/subscription in HubSpot when removing a Staff Member.

HubSpot

Click "Reporting"

Click "Dashboards"

Click the drop down arrow to select your dashboard.

Click "Staff Donation Hub"

Click the "Deal Owner" filter

Under "is any of" remove "Me" and find the staff member in the list you are removing.

Check the box next to their name

Click up next to the white space by "is any of" (this closes the drop down menu)

Click "Apply"

Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard to the "Recurring Donors w/ total giving $ to date list. Each of these donors in the list will need to have their subscription cancelled.

Click on the name of the first person (it will open up the contact record in a new tab in your browser)

Once the contact record is open, navigate to the right column and find the "Subscriptions" section. Click "Preview"

Click "Actions"

Click "Cancel subscription"

You can now view the Subscriptions section on the contact record and it should show a status of "Canceled". Note: You may need to refresh your browser to see the updated status.
