Change the Current Period after certifying the Claim

Contrack

Warning, changing the Period creates a new period, and locks the old period. This should only be done once you have issued the Payment Certificate for the month, and there are no more Lots or Variations to be processed that will affect the payment amounts.

Navigate to [https://contrack.com.au/](https://contrack.com.au/)

Click "Contract Admin"

Click "Periods"

You will be taken to the Periods screen.

Click "CLOSE CURRENT PERIOD"

You can set the dates the period was closed, and the next period opened. These don't have to line up with calendar months, it is just used for ordering the periods.

Enter the period name. By default, Contrack will pre-fill this field with the preceding month.

Click "NEXT"

You will then enter the Close Period wizard. Step 2 tells you which Lots will be set to Guaranteed > 1 Month.

Click "NEXT"

Step 3 tells you which Lots were Guaranteed > 1 Month and not Closed, so were deducted from the Payment Claim.

Click "NEXT"

If you have forecast periods set up, you can merge the new period with a forecast period.

Click "NEXT"

Step 5 is the final step and closes the current period and creates a new period that will become the current period.

Click "CLOSE"

A success message will appear saying the period is now closed.

Your current period will become the new period you just created, in this case "September 2024"
