How to Checkout on BCause

Have you made a FREE account? Be sure to login to collect your automatic store credit with every purchase. Not sure how to create an account, review the 'Create an Account on BCause tutorial. While having an account is optional, it does earn you rewards, make checkout faster and gives you the ability to easily review previous orders and more. To login, click "Login" from any page on BCause in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Enter your login credentials provided when you created an account on BCause. Select 'forgot your password' if you need to reset your password. Once your details are inputted, click 'Sign In'.

Once you've added all the items you are looking to purchase, review your cart by clicking the cart icon in the top right hand corner or middle of your screen (available on any page of the website).

Review your cart and make edits as necessary (review the 'How to Shop on BCause' tutorial for details). When you're happy with what's in your cart, scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Checkout'.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter in the postal code of the desired delivery address for your order.

Click the "Choose a date and time." field.

Select your desired delivery date from the calendar.

Click "Check out"

You're in the homestretch. We just need to collect a few pieces of info from you and then we can get to work bringing your order together. Fill in the following prompts using the information of the desired recipient of the order: First Name, Last Name, Mailing Address, Postal Code and Phone Number.

On the right hand side of your screen you can also input any discount codes or gift card codes you have received. If using store credit, input your store credit code here as well (learn more about store credit in the 'How to use Store Credit" tutorial).

Click "Apply"

Click "Continue to delivery methods"

Select your desired shipping methods. Currently, BCause has three delivery options for those in the Greater Victoria area. FREE Local Delivery Click - Available for all Vancouver Island orders. Order cut-off time is 6am of desired delivery day for Greater Victoria residents, 4pm the day before delivery for orders outside of Greater Victoria. Time Windowed Delivery: Available for Greater Victoria orders. Guaranteed delivery between 1pm - 5pm. Order cut-off 6am of desired delivery day. Speedy Delivery: Rush same-day delivery. Order cut off 4pm on desired delivery day. Only available weekdays (excluding holidays) in Greater Victoria. Select which shipping method you would like and then click "Continue to payment"

Click "Continue to payment"

Here you can leave an optional tip for our delivery driver team. While not necessary, it is appreciated.

You can pay via your credit card or by Paypal. If paying by credit card, click the "Card number" field and fill out the required credit card detail fields including card number, cardholder name, expiration date and security code.

For your billing address, select either "Same as delivery address" or "Use a different billing address". In order to process your order, your billing address must match what is on file with your credit card company.

Want to make checkout faster in the future? Click the "Save my information for a faster checkout" field and your information will be saved for future purchases. If you choose to use this feature, you will be prompted to input a cell phone number. You will be sent an automated text message to set up a two-factor safety login process for future purchases. Note: Your credit card details are not saved with nor accessible by BCause or any staff of BCause.

Click "Place Order" if there are any issues with processing your order such as an error in your billing address or a missing field, you will be alerted as such. If your order is placed successfully, you will see a "Your Order Has Been Placed" page. Now you just have to sit back and wait for your order to arrive.
