About the Guaranteed Acceptance Personal Health Plan
The [Guaranteed Acceptance plan](https://www.sk.bluecross.ca/personal-insurance/health-insurance/guaranteed-acceptance-coverage-details/) offers total health coverage – without being affected by one's medical history. No medical questionnaire required.\
\
The Guaranteed Acceptance Plan is designed to provide coverage for customers who are not eligible for a Blue Choice Plan based upon the review of their medical history or have received exclusions applied to benefits they would like coverage for.

Navigate to <https://www.sk.bluecross.ca/>.
Login to your Individual Advisor Portal.

Click **"Apply"** to start a new application.
Getting started

Before getting started, please confirm that all applicants have provincial health coverage and currently have, or have applied for, a Saskatchewan Health Services Card.
Click **"Yes"** to confirm and proceed.

Click **"No"** regarding leaving coverage to continue through the Guaranteed Acceptance Personal Health Plan application path.
**Note:** Click **'Yes'** when applying for a *new* **Conversion Personal Health Plan**

Click **"No"** for adding members or dependents as we are applying for a *new* Guaranteed Acceptance Plan as a *new* applicant.\

**Note:** Only click **'Yes'** when applying to **add a spouse or dependent child(ren)** to a policy or, applying for **optional benefits** on a policy that already is active.

Select **'Guaranteed Acceptance'** to proceed through the Guaranteed Acceptance Personal Health Plan application path.
Click **"GET STARTED"** to proceed.

Fill out the required fields for the primary individual applying for coverage.
**Note:** This individual will become the Policyholder.

How did the applicant hear about Saskatchewan Blue Cross? Let us know by selecting from the drop-down menu.
If the applicant has a promo code, type it in in the **'Referral code'** field.
If the applicants does not have a promo code, leave these field blank.
Click **"Continue"**
Adding a partner

Click **'Yes'** to add a Partner to the application.\
\
**Partner:** The partner of the Policyholder by marriage or a cohabitated common-law relationship. Sometimes referred to as a Spouse.

Complete the required fields for the Partner and click **'Save Partner'**.
Adding a dependent

Click **'Yes'** to add a dependent child to the application.
**Dependent** means a Policyholder or Partner's:\
• unmarried child up to 18 years of age.\
• unmarried child up to 25 years of age who is a Full Time Student.\
• child who due to a physical or mental infirmity cannot leave the care of the Policyholder or Partner.

Click **'Add Dependent'.**

Complete the required fields for the Dependent.
If the dependent is between age 18 and 25, a **'Check Box**' will appear to confirm the dependent child is a full-time student, enrolled in full-time courses through an accredited educational institution.
Select the **'Check box'** if the dependent is a student. \

• If your client advised you their dependent is no longer a full-time student, enrolled in an accredited education institution please email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) with this information.\
• If a policy includes dependents age 18 and over, a members renewal notice will remind them to make any changes if eligibility requirements are no longer met.\
• Dependents turning 25 will automatically be transferred to their own plan at the next renewal date.

If the dependent is age 18 or over, a **'Check Box**' will appear to confirm the dependent child is unable to leave the Policyholder or Partner's care due to physical or mental disability. Incapacitated Dependents are eligible to remain on the policy indefinitely.
Select the **'Check box'** if the dependent is an incapacitated dependent.
