How to Complete a Group Task (Playbook)

      Which Tasks are Created

There are four different tasks that are created under Group Tasks: 1. **Visited for the First Time:** This task is assigned when a member or visitor visits your bible study class for the first time. 2. **Assigned to Class:** This task is assigned when a visitor joins the church and is automatically assigned into a bible study depending upon their demographics 3. **Joined Class:** This task is assigned when a visitor or church member has decided to join the class. 4. **MIA (MISSING IN ACTION):** This task is assigned when someone has not been in bible study for 3 consecutive weeks.

      How to Work a Task

Open the SBC Playbook App and select "Groups" in the lower right-hand corner.
Select the group that you are wanting to complete tasks for.
From here, you can view the tasks that are assigned to your bible study group. Select the task that you are wanting to work on and complete.
From this menu, you can contact the member by selecting one of the following: Mobile Phone, Text Message, or E-mail.
**Note:** When you are making a connection, it will use your information when reaching out to the prospect. For example, if I want to e-mail the prospect, it will bring up my default e-mail app and send them an e-mail from my e-mail address.
Once you have made contact with the person, select "Add Activity" in the bottom right-hand corner
From here, you can update the activity type to one of the following: 1. **Contact Made** 2. **Try Again Later** 3. **Unable to Reach** If you have anything you would like to note, you can do so from this menu. If someone different made this one connection, you can update the connector from the menu as well.\ \ Once you have finished this activity, click on "Done."
Once the activity has been completed, you will see that the new activity has been added onto the task.

      How to Complete a Task

If you are ready to complete a task, select the task that is ready to be marked as completed.
Once you have connected with the person, click on the option "Connect" in the bottom. \ \ **This will automatically mark the task as completed.**
Once you have selected "connect", it will show on the task under activities that you have connected with the person and the connect button will disappear.
Under all the tasks listed for the bible study group, the task that was marked as "connected" will now move to the bottom of the list and grey-out.
