How to Connect with UC Davis College of Engineering Alumni on LinkedIn

Navigate to [https://www.linkedin.com/school/uc-davis/](https://www.linkedin.com/school/uc-davis/)

Click "Alumni"

Click "Show more"

Continue clicking the "Next" arrow to scroll through available filters including **Where they live**, **What they do**, and **What they studied**.

To search for alumni who are working in the engineering field, click "Engineering" in the **What they do** category. You can also choose a different career field or skip directly to the next step.
You can select multiple filters, but you will have to scroll back through the categories each time you select.

Scroll through the filter categories to **What they studied**. Click the fields you want to include.

To type in specific majors, click "Add"

Click the "Add any field of study" box.

Type your search term, for example "Computer Engineering", and click your desired field.

Continuing filtering categories based on your interests and who you are looking for!

You can also filter by graduation year. For example, search for people who attended UC Davis between 2010-2012.

Scroll down to view the "People you may know" section and find College of Engineering alumni! From there, you can view their profile and reach out via InMail or by making a connect request.

Always add a note when requesting a new connection.

For example:
- "Hello from a fellow College of Engineering alum. I am interested in \[fill in your reason to connect here\]. I hope we can connect. Best, \[Your Name\]"
- "Hello, old friend! I remember our times together at UC Davis and would love to reconnect. Best, \[Your Name\]"
