    How to Create a Direct Mail Sequence

    Set Up the First Mail Piece in a Custom Sequence

    From the "Direct Mail" app, click "Direct Mail Sequences"

    Click "New"

    Type an easy-to-identify name in the "Direct Mail Sequence Name" field.

    Select a mail piece from the "Choose Mail Piece" dropdown. Then select the "Type of Schedule." Leave the "Days" field blank when selecting "Now" in the "Type of Schedule" dropdown. In a case where "Now" is selected and a number is accidentally included in the "Days" field, **"Now" will overrule**.

    Alert! Left Main REI has preconfigured mail pieces in the **Lead Letter Sequence** folder and **Lead Post Card Sequence** folder. All other folders are empty by default.

    Choose a "Folder" to store this new sequence in. ***(See the next section for steps on how to create a new, custom folder.)***

    Select the appropriate sequence name and mail piece, then choose "Days" from the "Type of Schedule" dropdown.
