Select the "details" arrow next to the task you would like to create a "follow up" for.
Once in the details side bar, click the three ellipses in the upper right hand corner.
Click "Create follow-up task"
This window will open. In it, you will designate who the follow up is for, and in which project you would like the follow up to appear. If you do not choose a project, it will default to "My Tasks". Click "create task".
You can see in the original task that a follow up was made called: "Follow up on "Business Owner: [Insert the person or department who will own the end result of the project here]""
This follow up defaulted to "My Tasks" as you can see in red.
