In this lesson you're going to first publish a website with Softr, before using Weglot to translate the content of that website.\ \ You'll start by publishing a new website with Softr.\ \ Start by signing up for a free account with [Softr](https://www.softr.io/?campaign=new_affiliates&gspk=bWF4aGFpbmluZzQ0MDg&gsxid=L7eaOkeNYzTW&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=maxhaining4408).
    2
In the Softr dashboard, select "**All Templates**" from the "**Templates**" options.
    3
In the search field, type "**Website**". \ \ **You can choose any website template you'd like**, as in this lesson you're primarily focusing on the ability to translate website contents, not on the website build itself.
    4
Once you've found a website template you like, click "**Use Template**".
    5
You'll be prompted to connect a data source.\ \ Skip this step by selecting "**Connect later**".
    6
Once your new website project has loaded, click "**Publish**".
    7
Copy the subdomain for your project to your clipboard.
    8
    Click "**Publish**".
    9
Now that you have a published website, you're going to use Weglot to add translation.\ \ Head on over to[Weglot](https://www.weglot.com/?utm_source=partners&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=100DaysOfNoCode) in a new browser tab and sign-up for an account.
    10
Add a "**Project Name**".\ \ In the website technology drop-down, select "**Other**" (as you're using Softr).
    11
    Click "**Next**".
    12
Select the Original Language (the language you're translating from) and the Translated Language (the language you want to translate to).\ \ Note: You can only translate into one language under Weglot's free plan.\ \ Click "**Next**"
    13
Paste in your Softr URL, ensure "Subdomains" is selected as the URL type and click "**Next**"
    14
Since you are using a Softr subdomain, you do not have control over the DNS settings, so you can skip this step by clicking the text highlighted below. If you'd like to use your own custom domain, please follow the DNS documentation here to configure it accordingly.
    15
You'll be presented with Weglot's JavaScript snippet. This snippet is the code that's executed on your Softr website to translate its content. \ \ Copy the code snippet to your clipboard.
    16
Switch back to your website project in Softr.
    17
Click on the "**Settings**" icon on the left-hand menu.
    18
Click on the "**Custom Code**" option.
    19
"**Custom Code**" is a feature that you can try for free in Softr, but you must first sign up for a 30-day free trial of their "**Basic**" plan. If you cancel your plan within the first 30 days, you won't be charged for any additional months.\ \ Click "**Try it for free**".
    20
    Toggle from "Yearly" to "Monthly".
