Enter the data you want to use for creating a pivot table into Google Sheets

Select the cells containing the data you wish to analyze, ensuring that you include the column headers

Click on the "Insert" option in the menu bar

From the dropdown menu, choose "Pivot table"

Decide whether you want the pivot table to appear in a new sheet or within the existing sheet
For this example, we're inserting the table into a new sheet

Click "Create" to save the changes made

Once the table has been created, you can customise it following the suggestions given by Google Sheets

Or you can choose to drag and drop fields from your dataset into the "Rows," "Columns," and "Values" sections to organize and structure your analysis

Select the information you wish to add

Select the desired order for the information and specify how you want the data to be sorted in the table
