    How to Create a Policy

      **Policies** can be used in Merit Check-in as prerequisites to check into an activity. These were known as **Qualifications** in the past version of the Merit Check-in app.
      Navigate to <https://admin.merits.com>
      Click "Create & Configure" at the top-right of the screen
      Click "Policies"
      Click "Create policy"
      Click "Name \*" and add the name of your policy. As and option, you may also add a description of the policy
      Click "Add rule"
      Click the "+" to add a merit template that will be used as the qualifying prerequisite to comply with this policy.
      Select the template you wish to add.
      Click the "+" again if you wish to add another template to be used as an either or situation. For example, a person must have either Template A **or** Template B. \ \ Click "Add rule" again if you would like a person to have more than one template to qualify. For example, a person must have Template A **and** Template B.
      Click "Save" at the bottom-right of the screen after you are done setting your Policy conditions
