How to Create a Poll in Slack

Click "More" then "Apps" in your left sidebar menu

Type "poll" in the search bar

Locate Polly (or Simple Poll) and click "Add"

Click "Add to Slack"

Click "Allow"

Click "Continue"

Complete the short onboarding or click "Skip this and go straight to Polly"

**Option 1**\ In your sidebar menu, go to "Apps" and click "Polly".\ Then click "Create a Polly" in green

**Option 2**\ In the sidebar menu, click on the channel where you want to post your poll

Type the shortcut "/poll" in the message field at the bottom

Click "Create a Polly"

Select one of the templates or click "Create New"

Type your question

Select the question type from the dropdown

Enter your choices

Select additional options such as "Allow multiple votes" and click "Send" or press Enter

Click "Create link" to share the poll outside of Slack or click "Done"
