Click the forum name where you want to make a post.

Click "Add discussion topic".

Click the "Subject" field and give the post a title.

Click "Message" field to write the content of your post.

The post can be posted by clicking "Post to forum" button. It will give you 30min of editing time before the post is visible to students. You can click "Advanced" option for more settings.

In "Advanced" section you can add attachments.

Click the "Send forum post notifications with no editing-time delay" field if you wish to post straight away, without 30 min editing time.

Click "Post to forum" to make a post.

The forum post is immediately visible to students and send them an email (depending on their digest preferences).
