    How to Create a Project Subsite in SharePoint

      Creating a Subsite

      Alert! This can only be done if you have the correct permissions.
      Click here:

      Click "Site Contents"

      Enter the "Title", which would typically be the project name.

      Decide the URL. Try to avoid spaces, as this will put a "%20" in the URL.

      Click "Use unique permissions"

      Click "Display this site on the Quick Launch of the parent site? No"

      Click "Display this site on the top link bar of the parent site? No"

      Click "Use the top link bar from the parent site? Yes"

      Click "Create"

      Permissions

      **Visitors -** These people can only view the site. **Members** - These people can make edits. **Owners** - These people have full permissions and can delete the site. Anybody that is an Owner, will automatically be a Member, and and Member will automatically be a Visitor.
      To add a name, click "Group Members", type in the name or email address, and hit [[Enter]]

      Applying a Template

      On the right of the page, you'll see a popup. Click on "Apply a site template"
