Click the blue circle with the plus sign. This is the add submission button.
        3
Your exam name must be the same as your exam in Canvas and include your course identification information (ex. BIOL 1010 - Exam #2 - For Testing Center)
        4
Under the "Select the exam group/s for this test" section, select the appropriate link. Academic Testing - TERM > COURSE NAME If you are submitting an exam request that allows **two attempts**, please select Academic Testing- TERM (DA) > COURSE NAME.
        5
Select the dates your exam will open and end in Canvas. Exam can be open 2-5 days. DO NOT use the Time Restriction link. If you receive an error when trying to schedule for two days, please notify us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and we will administratively change the dates to the two dates you are seeking. If you have an asynchronous online course and need expanded end dates for exams, please contact us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) to discuss the needs based on your course design.

Per policy, allotted minutes should be no longer than class length, unless otherwise arranged. Assessment length should be appropriate for the exam with NO added time built in. Allotted minutes = appointment time. Inflated times will negatively impact test center capacity.
        7
Under the "Manage Campuses" section, you **MUST DESELECT** "ISU- Exam Accommodations Center". The Exam Accommodations Center will need its own submission if you have students utilizing this location.
        8
If you are using our proctor vetting service for off-campus/online students, you are able to upload the exam at the time of your submission. If you are not ready to upload your written exam at the time of your submission, you may do so at a later date, at least 4 business days prior to when the assessment opens. Testing Center users, simply click "Next" as the Testing Center does not proctor written exams.
        9
Fill out the appropriate exam information in the next field. This is what Testing Center staff will use when students check-in. Please note that the "Number of students testing" field **should be as accurate as possible.** Inflated numbers **negatively impact** test center capacity.
        10
Do not use this section unless you are creating a make-up or pre-release exam. Click "Next."
        11
Use the final text block at the end of the submission form to provide additional details to the Testing Center related to the exam. No information in this area will be visible to students in your course.
        12
Click "Submit" when you are ready to upload your submission to the Testing Center for review.
